Butterfly Log Cabin Block, Kaleidoscope of Butterflies....

My butterfly block with log cabin surround.....

Center butterfly block designed by Fig Tree & Co.

My butterfly calendar for August, Buckeye butterfly.

Mary Ann of Magpie's Mumblings suggested that I surround my butterfly blocks with log cabins.
I think that's a great idea and I've put a few together.

I link up with Cathy @ Sane Crazy Crumby Quilting for the Kaleidoscope of Butterflies the 1st of the month but I had to put some time in at work and I was caught up with this and that for a few days, so I'm late. Here is my butterfly post and some butterfly blocks at last!!!!

Remember to stop and smell the flowers and watch the butterflies. The best things in life are free!

  2. Log cabin must be one of the most clever designs ever made. There are so many varieties and you have added the butterfly centre to great affect. Your fantastic play with colour also gives the log cabin a special charm.

    1. Sorry! I'm computer challenged and if my sons aren't here to help, it can sometimes take a while before I figure things out. Thanks for telling me, I think I cleared it up. Tell me if I'm still 'no reply' and I'll keep working on it.
      I enjoy your work.
