Friday I drove to San Jose to see family and the
San Jose Quilt Museum exhibit, Found/Made, a quilt collection including quilts from 1940-current. I went with my daughter-in-law and we enjoyed ourselves looking around and talking about fabric, quilts and the memories of vintage fabrics and quilt patterns in our lives. Good time!
Enjoy something beautiful this weekend, it keeps you young!

How interesting! Thanks for sharing the exhibit.
oh you must have gotten so much pleasure from this trip Janie, surrounded by all these wonderful quilts.
You're welcome, Pamela, Your blue hexie quilt is so close to being finished! http://hokkaidokudasai.blogspot.com/
Yes, it was a good break and refreshing, gets those inspiration wheels turning.
I wish I could see this in person but these photos are great. I like the interesting angles, especially the one along the clothes line.
Wonderful quilts - and even better to be able to spend quality time with your DIL. Wish mine lived closer so we could do the same!
The visit was great, nothing better than 'in person'.
This was an exciting exhibit - so inspiring. I'm looking forward to Rod's lecture at SCVQA in August. You remind me I should go again before it closes.
Gorgeous exhibit, its wonderful to see the old timies once in a while.
