I've hand sewn lace trim here and there. |

Venice lace pinned on waiting for me to get it sewn down. |
Hand sewing lace down can take a little time. I can't devote all my time to this so I plan and arrange in my mind while I get other things done, a balancing act.
I'm looking forward to embellishing and hand embroidery next. My last "Prairie" sewing kit was a bit plain. I plan to really load this one with embellishment. As always,
Sharon B's WIP is a real inspiration to get things done!

I'm "interviewing" embroidery thread colors & embellishments. |

I think half the fun of creating something is the 'interview' process. I always discover something I've totally forgotten about when I'm searching out fodder for a new project.
love the last picture Janie....It makes me want to touch, to look, to investigate your embroidery and all the other tempting things!
You are so right about forgetting. Finding those tucked away treasures is an adventure in itself.
Thank you Karen, sharing is a good thing.
You have found the perfect things to embellish your hussif.
Embellishing is the best part you know!
Your Victorian quilt is beautiful. I love anything that has lace attached. I think I was born in the wrong era.! I am now your newest follower.
Thank you, lace is so versatile.
