Greetings from foggy Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
It has been rainy and foggy here off and on lately.

We're here for a while, no plans, just to explore.
Will I get back to Folsom, I don't know.

I'm going into Long Beach today for sewing machine parts to get the resident sewing machine here up and running. That's east of here, up and over the coastal hills. The sewing machine shop is supposed to be a big one with fabric and classes etc. Long Beach SewVac .

I decided to look through my photos of projects made in Folsom, Ca.  The top art quilt, 'Morning Song' I made while we were living in Santa Clara.
It's fun to look back, inspiring.

I ask myself, Why do you make quilts? Is it a hobby or what?
Maybe I need to get a job at this sewing store selling sewing machines.
Change of pace?

Have a great day. I'll be by to visit and see your projects.

Over the years you have made some beautiful quilts, vibrant with colour. I hope you find the sewing machine shop inspiring, and yes, how about getting a job in the shop making quilts?
Snow and bitterly cold in Tokyo.

I love seeing your cheery colorful quilts!

I think stitching is more than a hobby. I'm not happy when I can't have a needle in my hand!

It's always good to look back on quilts made in the past year or years, a trip down Memory Lane! Hope your foggy weather improves soon and enjoy your visit to the sewing machine store.

I think looking back is a valuable exercise, it reminds, it prompts. I find if I am struggling creatively that it feeds new ideas too....

A job in a sewing store - sounds wonderful but I know that I would spend far more than I would ever earn. I enjoyed seeing some of your previous works; it's fun to look back once in awhile just to see how work evolves.
