I had a bit of time to sew trims on my crazy quilt, "Prairie" #3 sewing kit, the layering process has begun.
I also added hand embroidery to my art quilt, "Tropical
Punch", you can see that below.

I really don't know which I like better - the more subtle colourway of the sewing kit or the saturated ones in the tropical piece. I tend to work with more with jewel tones which are in my comfort zone and no matter what I don't seem to be able to work with the colours in your sewing kit, despite really wanting to.

ReplyDeleteI just love your sewing kit! I have a hard time working with the colors in your "Tropical Punch" art quilt. You make it look so easy. It is so bright and cheerful. I look forward to seeing it completed!
